A report from the legal analysis site Lawfare notes that no entry on the platform has been altered since April 24, and the “Recent changes” section on the live site displays a message indicating that no live edits have occurred. The observation follows Grokipedia’s launch of version 0.1 in October 2025 with an initial 885,000 articles, and its subsequent upgrade to version 0.2 in November 2025, which expanded the catalogue to more than six million entries.

The lack of recent edits raises questions about the platform’s operational status and its ability to deliver on Musk’s promise of a continuously evolving knowledge base. While the site’s public page still lists the extensive article count, the absence of updates for over three months suggests a halt in active maintenance.
