Special envoy Steve Witkoff reported “substantive progress” following a series of United States‑led talks aimed at ending the Russia‑Ukraine war. U.S. negotiators flew to both Moscow and Kyiv to facilitate additional dialogue between the conflicting parties, a move that the White House described as a significant step toward a durable settlement.
