UN warns civilians at risk in south Lebanon amid Israeli-Hezbollah strikes

South Lebanon remains in a state of heightened danger as the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) reports ongoing damage to infrastructure and civilian services amid continued clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah. According to the mission’s latest assessment, roads have been severely damaged, impeding movement and access to essential services for local residents.

The UN report highlights that the frequent strikes and military activity have disrupted utilities, healthcare, and supply chains, leaving civilians exposed to additional risks.
