ULA Readies to Resume Vulcan Rocket Launches

United Launch Alliance (ULA) has announced that it is preparing to resume launches of its Vulcan rocket in the coming weeks. The company confirmed that the next flight will be conducted from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, following a brief pause that allowed for final system checks and integration of the new engine configuration.

The pause was prompted by a series of technical reviews and a minor anomaly discovered during a pre‑flight test. After addressing the issue, ULA’s engineering team completed the necessary updates to the Vulcan’s propulsion system and verified the vehicle’s readiness with a full ground test. The upcoming launch is scheduled to carry a commercial satellite payload for a major telecommunications operator, marking the first operational flight of the new rocket since its 2022 debut.

With the Vulcan program back on track, ULA aims to maintain its cadence of launches and reinforce its position in the commercial launch market. The company will continue to monitor flight performance closely and is expected to schedule additional missions throughout the remainder of the year.
