Romania’s Defence Ministry confirmed that a drone was detected in Romanian airspace on Tuesday, prompting the activation of air‑defence protocols and the subsequent interception of the unmanned aircraft. While officials declined to disclose the drone’s exact origin, the ministry noted that the incident occurred near the country’s eastern border and that no injuries or property damage were reported.
