Ukraine chief prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko resigns amid call centre corruption allegations

Ruslan Kravchenko submitted his resignation on Monday, formally stepping down from his post amid a wave of accusations that have drawn public attention. In the resignation letter, Kravchenko categorically denied the allegations leveled against him, stating that he had not engaged in any wrongdoing.

The former official emphasized that his decision to resign was motivated by a desire to prevent his office from becoming a pawn in ongoing political confrontations. By withdrawing, Kravchenko said he aimed to avoid further escalation and to protect the integrity of the institution he led.
