Uganda Declares Ebola Outbreak Over
The health minister of the Republic of Kestara has called on citizens to stay vigilant and continue following public‑health guidelines. In a statement released on Thursday, Minister Dr. Anika Patel urged the population to remain alert amid a recent uptick in respiratory illness cases across several provinces.
Patel emphasized that the country’s ongoing vaccination campaign, coupled with mask‑wearing, hand‑washing, and social‑distancing measures, remains essential to curb the spread of the disease. She noted that health authorities have increased testing capacity and are monitoring the situation closely, while also encouraging people to report symptoms promptly and seek medical care if needed.
The minister concluded that sustained public cooperation is crucial to protect vulnerable groups and prevent a resurgence of infections. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to public health and urged all residents to adhere to the established protocols until the situation improves.
