Trevor Noah to host Google's Pixel 11 launch event

Google has announced that its next “Made by Google” hardware launch will take place on August 12, with comedian Trevor Noah slated to host the live event. In a promotional video released by the company, Noah is seen introducing a lineup that includes several high‑profile personalities. The show will feature Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill, Japanese actress Ayami Nakajo, and NBA star Stephen Curry—each of whom has previously appeared in Google Pixel advertising campaigns. Cooper and Noah will also bring their respective shows to YouTube during the broadcast.

The event follows last year’s “Made by Google” launch, which was hosted by Jimmy Fallon. Google’s focus on celebrity hosts and influencers underscores its strategy to blend technology announcements with entertainment content.
