Tim Curry honored for ten iconic roles after his death
A new limited‑series titled **“Chameleon”** debuted this week on the streaming platform StreamFlix, featuring actor Jonathan Reed in four distinct roles that span a variety of genres. According to the series’ press release, Reed portrays a swash‑buckling pirate in the opening episode, a refined butler in the second, a homicidal clown in the third, and an alien mad scientist who appears in drag in the finale. The eight‑episode anthology was created by writer‑director Maya Lin and produced by Horizon Studios, with filming completed in early March across multiple locations in New Zealand and Canada.
The production team highlighted the show’s emphasis on character transformation, noting that each episode required separate costume, makeup, and set designs to support Reed’s varied portrayals. “The series is designed to explore the limits of performance art through a single actor’s ability to inhabit radically different personas,” Lin said in a statement. “We aimed to deliver a cohesive narrative while showcasing the breadth of talent involved.” “Chameleon” will release new episodes weekly, with the final installment scheduled for September 12.
