Saudi Arabia to invest €6 billion in three Paris‑area theme parks

France and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on Monday authorising the Gulf kingdom to invest €6 billion in three new amusement parks to be built near Paris, the French presidential office said. The deal, announced during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's state visit, includes a park that is expected to be themed around Japanese manga, alongside two additional leisure complexes. The investment is part of a broader agenda of bilateral deals discussed during the visit, which also addressed the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.

The €6 billion commitment underscores Saudi Arabia’s growing interest in European tourism and entertainment projects, while providing France with a substantial boost to its leisure sector and regional employment prospects. The parks are slated for construction in the coming years, with details on timelines and operators to be finalized in subsequent negotiations.
