Ryanair Boeing 737 wingtip strikes Dublin runway during landing

A passenger on a Ryanair Boeing 737 captured video of the aircraft’s left wingtip making contact with the runway during a landing at Dublin Airport. The footage, posted to social media, shows the aircraft’s wing briefly scraping the pavement before the plane came to a stop, prompting immediate attention from airport personnel and airline officials.

Ryanair confirmed that the incident occurred on a scheduled flight arriving from the United Kingdom and that no injuries were reported among the 180 passengers and crew. The airline said the aircraft was inspected by maintenance staff and that the cause of the wingtip strike was being investigated in cooperation with the Irish Aviation Authority.
