Russia warns UK over drone supplies to Ukraine
Britain’s Ministry of Defence said on Tuesday that the United Kingdom remains “shoulder to shoulder” with Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict in the east, reaffirming its commitment to the country’s defence and sovereignty. The statement came after a series of diplomatic meetings in Kyiv, where senior UK officials discussed the next phase of military assistance, including the delivery of air‑defence systems and additional training for Ukrainian forces.
The spokesperson emphasized that the support is part of a broader coalition of NATO allies providing equipment, intelligence and financial aid to help Kyiv resist Russian aggression. The ministry also noted that Britain continues to work with partner nations to ensure a steady flow of assistance while monitoring the security situation on the ground. The declaration underscores the UK’s intention to maintain its strategic partnership with Ukraine as the conflict persists.
