Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence confirmed that its forces struck several Russian oil refineries in the eastern part of the country, targeting facilities that supply fuel for the Russian military. The attacks were carried out by guided munitions launched from Ukrainian territory, according to the ministry’s statement. In a separate operation, Russian forces reportedly struck the industrial city of Dnipropetrovsk and damaged a cargo vessel anchored near Odesa. Russian military officials said the strike on Dnipropetrovsk was aimed at disrupting supply lines, while the attack on the vessel was intended to hamper Ukrainian maritime logistics. Ukrainian authorities have not yet released details on casualties or damage from these incidents.

The series of strikes underscores the continued escalation of hostilities in the region, with both sides targeting critical infrastructure to weaken the opponent’s operational capabilities.
