Russia's Attack on Ukraine Violates Polish Airspace
Russian forces launched a new deadly strike on Ukraine, during which an unidentified object entered Polish airspace before descending into a field. The incursion was detected by Polish air defence systems, which tracked the object until it impacted, causing no casualties but raising concerns about cross‑border security.
In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to international partners for the deployment of anti‑ballistic missile systems to counter what he described as “Russian terror.” The European Union has condemned the attack, calling it a violation of international law and a threat to regional stability. The EU’s statement reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defense and urged further cooperation to prevent future incidents.
