Rescue operations ongoing two weeks after Nepal flash floods

Two weeks after flash floods devastated parts of central Nepal, the death toll and number of missing persons continue to climb. Rescue crews are conducting repeated helicopter sorties, the only viable means of reaching remote villages isolated by landslides and washed‑out roads. Simultaneously, humanitarian groups and volunteers, many from Nepal’s Generation Z, are mobilising on the ground to provide medical aid, food, and shelter while authorities work to identify victims and locate survivors.
