A new radiotheranostic pair, 68Ga/177Lu‑NYM096, has been shown to identify and treat metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) with reduced toxicity. The study, published in the September issue of *The Journal of Nuclear Medicine*, highlights the dual diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of the 68Ga/177Lu‑NYM096 pair. By combining a positron‑emitting isotope for imaging with a beta‑emitting isotope for therapy, clinicians can precisely locate ccRCC lesions and deliver localized radiation while minimizing systemic side effects.
