Qatar Responds to Netanyahu's Hostile State Claim

Netanyahu’s remarks, which referenced Qatar’s alleged support for groups that Israel deems terrorist organizations, came amid heightened tensions in the region following recent clashes in Gaza and diplomatic disputes over Iran’s nuclear program.

In response, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement asserting that the country “remains committed to peace, stability and constructive dialogue” and that it “condemns all forms of terrorism.” The statement also highlighted Qatar’s role in mediating regional conflicts, including recent cease‑fire negotiations between Israel and Hamas, and called on Netanyahu to refrain from “unfounded accusations” that could undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts.
