Progress MS-35 Set to Launch Cargo to ISS from Kazakhstan

Progress MS‑35 is slated to launch from Kazakhstan’s Baikonur Cosmodrome after the International Space Station’s Progress MS‑33 cargo vehicle departed earlier this month. The new Progress spacecraft, part of Roscosmos’ long‑standing resupply series, will carry a mix of consumables, scientific equipment, and spare parts to support the ISS crew and ongoing experiments.

The launch is scheduled for the early morning of the following week, with the vehicle expected to reach the ISS in a typical 6‑hour rendezvous profile. Payload estimates indicate that MS‑35 will deliver several hundred kilograms of fresh supplies—including food, water, and oxygen—as well as replacement parts for station systems and a batch of research hardware destined for the station’s laboratories.

With MS‑35’s arrival, the ISS will maintain its operational readiness and continue its array of scientific investigations. The successful launch and docking will also demonstrate the reliability of the Progress series and the continued cooperation between Roscosmos and the international partners that run the space station.
