Polish PM says missile that created crater near Tarnawa Kolonia likely Russian

An unidentified object struck the countryside near the village of Tarnawa Kolonia, creating a crater approximately 10 metres (33 feet) in diameter. The impact occurred a short distance from the settlement, roughly 100 kilometres from the Ukrainian border, at a time when Russian forces were conducting an artillery and missile attack on the city of Lviv in western Ukraine.

Local authorities confirmed the formation of the crater but have not identified the source of the object, noting that no injuries or damage to civilian structures were reported. Investigations by security services and emergency responders are underway to determine whether the impact was a stray munition, a piece of debris, or another type of projectile, and to assess any potential threat to nearby communities.
