Pogacar claims solo victory on Vuelta stage four

Tadej Pogacar claimed a decisive victory in stage 4 of the Vuelta a España, taking the win in Andorra la Vella with a solo attack that left him more than three minutes ahead of the peloton. The Slovenian rider launched his move on the road to the second of the day's climbs, rapidly breaking away from the high‑altitude group and cruising to the finish with almost 50 km remaining. His time gap secured the stage win and moved him further toward a complete Grand Tour collection, adding the Vuelta to his palmarès.

Pogacar’s aggressive strategy on the steep Andorran ascent turned what could have been a contested battle into a one‑man procession.
