Oil Spill from Grounded Tanker Reaches Oman Beaches

Oman’s Environment Authority announced on Wednesday that oil leaking from a tanker grounded off the country’s coast had reached mainland beaches. The spill, which began after the vessel ran aground in the Arabian Sea, has already contaminated shoreline areas near the coast.
