Mammotion’s Luba 4 AWD and Anker’s new Eufy Robot Lawn Mower S2 Max were unveiled at IFA 2026, both featuring an edger attachment that can trim the sides of driveways and flower beds. The Luba 4, already known for its all‑wheel‑drive performance, now offers a practical solution for homeowners who want a single machine to handle both mowing and edging tasks.

The S2 Max builds on Anker’s dual‑blade design with a new extendable trimming arm, allowing it to clean grass around hard‑scaped areas. Its vSLAM navigation uses built‑in cameras to create a 3‑D map of a yard, eliminating the need for boundary wires or a Real‑Time Kinematic base station. Anker claims the mower can map and mow up to 3.7 acres and manage slopes of up to 80 % (38‑degree). The robot will ship in May 2027 for €3,999, though U.S. pricing has not yet been announced.
