New Eagle Species Discovered in 11.6-Million-Year-Old Bavarian Fossils
The Hammerschmiede clay pit near Pforzen in the eastern Allgäu has long been a focal point for paleontologists, yielding a remarkable array of fossils from the late Miocene.
