NASA Invites Media to Albania Artemis Accords Signing Ceremony

Albania will become the 73rd nation to sign the Artemis Accords during a ceremony at 12 p.m. EDT on Monday, September 21, at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The event will be hosted by NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson and will include Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, and the Albanian Ambassador to the United States.

The signing marks Albania’s formal commitment to the principles of the Artemis Accords, a framework that establishes guidelines for international cooperation in lunar exploration and the peaceful use of outer space.
