A British citizen who lives and works in the United States has been identified as having expressed support for former President Donald Trump and for agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in earlier public statements. The information surfaced during a routine background review conducted by a federal agency, which noted the individual’s prior social‑media activity and participation in political events aligned with those positions.

Records indicate that the individual posted messages praising Trump’s policies and posted comments commending ICE officers on several platforms between 2017 and 2020. The same review also documented attendance at rallies supporting the former president and the sharing of articles favorable to ICE’s enforcement actions. The background check was prompted by the citizen’s recent application for a professional license, and the agency confirmed that the political expressions do not, by themselves, affect eligibility under current regulations.
