Lions Die from Suspected Heatstroke at Japan Zoo

Tama Zoological Park in Tokyo reported that ten of its 16 lions have been showing signs of illness since mid‑July, including loss of appetite and reduced activity. In a statement released on Monday, the zoo confirmed that three lionesses have died as a result of the condition.
