Korea-Central Asia Summit Highlights Silk Road Spirit and Supply Chains

The leaders of the six member states announced a new framework to deepen cooperation in manufacturing, technology and transport, placing greater emphasis on strengthening regional value chains. The agreement, signed during a summit in which the six nations’ heads of state and government met, signals a coordinated effort to enhance industrial integration and technological exchange across the region.

Under the new format, the countries will coordinate policy initiatives, share best practices, and pursue joint projects that improve supply‑chain resilience and promote sustainable transport solutions. The leaders also agreed to convene again at the next leaders’ summit in Kazakhstan in 2028, ensuring continuity of dialogue and the implementation of agreed measures.
