Israeli settlers siege three homes in Qusra, cutting off supplies

Palestinian residents of three houses in Qusra, a village near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, reported that they have been effectively cut off from food and other essential supplies since a siege by Israeli settlers began on Sunday. The blockade, which has isolated the households, has not been lifted by the Israeli military, and the residents say no effort has been made to remove the settlers from the area.

FRANCE 24 correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky noted that the situation reflects broader political dynamics, stating, “We are seeing the cracks of Israeli politics, including a paralysed prime minister’s inability to condemn basic filmed violent acts, play out in the West Bank.” The ongoing siege underscores the tension between settler activity and the response of Israeli authorities in the region.
