Iran's Supreme Leader warns of consequences if US attacks persist

Tehran – In a recent interview, Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, dismissed former President Donald Trump’s signature on the 2021 nuclear agreement as “worthless” and characterized “bullying” as a central feature of United States foreign policy. Speaking to state‑affiliated media, the senior cleric argued that the United States continues to leverage diplomatic pressure and economic sanctions to achieve its geopolitical aims, a stance he said remains unchanged regardless of the administration in power.

Khamenei’s remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Tehran and Washington over the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and broader regional issues.
