Iran's IRGC strikes Kuwait after US attacks on Iranian sites

Iran announced that it had struck a target in Kuwait in retaliation for recent United States airstrikes on several Iranian sites, including a strike on Qeshm Island in the Persian Gulf. Tehran’s foreign ministry released a statement claiming that the attack was a response to what it described as “unprovoked aggression” by the U.S. military, which had targeted Iranian military infrastructure and civilian facilities in the past month.

The U.S. had conducted a series of precision strikes against Iranian command and control centers, missile launch sites, and a naval base on Qeshm Island, citing the need to deter further Iranian destabilization efforts in the region.
