Insta360 Launches Luna Pro, a Single‑Lens Steadycam for the US

At the IFA trade show, Insta360 unveiled the Luna Pro, a compact steadicam that closely resembles its earlier Luna Ultra. While the Ultra debuted with two lenses and a 1‑inch‑type 8K sensor, the Pro trims the telephoto option, offering a single lens but adding the capability to record vertical 4K footage. The device retains the Ultra’s detachable 2‑inch touchscreen, four‑hour battery life, and NFC tag for rapid file transfer, and it is now available for purchase in the United States—unlike DJI’s Osmo Pocket 4.

The Luna Pro’s design and sensor are essentially the same as the Ultra’s main camera, providing a familiar shooting experience for users who prefer a lighter, more streamlined rig.
