Indigenous groups protest Argentina bill allowing foreign ownership of rural land

Indigenous groups gathered in Buenos Aires on Thursday to demonstrate against a legislative proposal that would permit foreign entities to acquire rural land throughout Argentina. Protesters, representing several native communities, marched to the National Congress and unfurled banners denouncing the bill as a threat to their ancestral territories and to national sovereignty over agricultural resources.
