Houthis launch missiles at Saudi Arabia after strikes on Sanaa airport

The Iran‑backed Houthi movement said it held Saudi Arabia responsible for a recent strike on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, and announced that the group had subsequently targeted Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport in retaliation. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Houthis accused the Saudi‑led coalition of violating a cease‑fire agreement and claimed the Sana’a attack was part of a broader campaign to pressure the kingdom. The group asserted that the strike on Abha airport was a proportional response aimed at deterring further Saudi actions against Houthi‑controlled areas.
