Hospital Workers Wounded in Israeli Drone Attack on Gaza’s Kamal Adwan

The Palestinian Health Ministry has condemned a recent strike on a medical facility in Gaza, calling it part of Israel’s “systematic targeting of health facilities.” The attack, which occurred on Thursday night, reportedly damaged a clinic in the Khan Younis district and left several patients injured. Ministry spokesperson Dr. Hanan Al‑Zoubi said the strike violated international humanitarian law and underscored the continued risk to civilian infrastructure amid the escalating conflict.

The ministry’s statement follows a series of incidents in which Israeli air and artillery fire have struck hospitals, ambulances and other health‑related structures across the Gaza Strip over the past month. In a separate briefing, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs confirmed that at least 12 health facilities had been hit in the same period, raising concerns about the protection of medical services in war zones. The Palestinian Health Ministry reiterated its demand for an immediate ceasefire and for all parties to respect the inviolability of medical sites under international law.
