France Battles Southern Wildfires

Firefighters across southern France are still battling extensive wildfires that have left thousands displaced. The most severe blaze, which began in the Pyrénées‑Orientales department, has not yet been fully contained, prompting the evacuation of about 12,000 residents from the affected areas.
