Tech firm Horizon Robotics announced today that it is pursuing a flexible, incremental strategy for autonomous vehicle development rather than a rigid, dogmatic path to full autonomy. “We're not necessarily building in a dogmatic fashion towards full autonomy,” said Horizon’s Chief Technology Officer, Maya Patel, during a press briefing in San Francisco. The statement clarified that the company will continue to roll out advanced driver‑assist features while gradually expanding its autonomous capabilities in controlled environments.
