Elbit reports Israeli system tracked 850,000 targets in Gaza and Lebanon wars

Israel’s largest defence contractor, Elbit Systems, disclosed at a military conference in London that its Tzayad digital army programme has been used to map people, vehicles and other objects in real time across the country’s active war zones. The system, integrated into Israel’s command and control network, identified roughly 1,000 potential targets each day during the first two years of the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, according to a presentation by the company.

Between 7 October 2023 and the end of 2025, the Tzayad platform recorded a total of 850,000 targets in real time across all Israeli theatres of war. Elbit Systems highlighted the programme’s role in providing continuous situational awareness for military operations, emphasizing its contribution to the rapid detection and assessment of threats. The figures illustrate the scale of data processing undertaken by Israel’s digital battlefield infrastructure during the ongoing hostilities.
