The probe found that oversight mechanisms are minimal, allowing for potential misallocation of funds. Insiders cited a lack of transparent reporting and limited independent audits, which could enable the diversion of money away from its intended development projects. The investigation highlighted that the current framework does not adequately prevent or detect irregularities in the allocation process.
