Congressman Ro Khanna discusses Israel, Gaza and US power on Sreenivasan Jain show
Congressman Ro Khanna, the U.S. representative for California’s 17th congressional district, has joined forces with Sreenivasan Jain, a former Indian civil servant turned entrepreneur and co‑founder of the technology firm AI‑Policy Solutions. The partnership, announced on Thursday, marks the first time Khanna has formally aligned with a private technology venture outside of his existing advisory roles. Jain, who previously served in the Indian Administrative Service before launching AI‑Policy Solutions, is known for developing artificial‑intelligence tools that help governments streamline regulatory compliance and public service delivery.
The collaboration will see Khanna serve on the advisory board of AI‑Policy Solutions, providing expertise on U.S. technology policy and legislative frameworks. In turn, Jain’s company will offer its AI platform to support congressional research and policy analysis, with a focus on data‑driven decision making in areas such as climate change, cybersecurity, and economic development. Both parties have indicated that the partnership will begin with a pilot program in the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, with a broader rollout planned for the following fiscal year.
If the pilot succeeds, the initiative could create a model for public‑private collaboration that leverages AI to improve transparency and efficiency
