Claude Launches Docs and Slides to Rival Gemini

Anthropic announced that its Claude AI will now support two new productivity tools—Docs and Slides—allowing users to create, export, edit, and share documents and presentations directly within a Claude chat. The update also introduces a unified chat experience, merging the former separate “regular” and “Cowork” modes into a single “one Claude” interface. From any conversation, users can access all of Claude’s AI‑powered productivity features, including the new Docs and Slides, as well as existing capabilities such as Artifacts and Claude Design.

The company explained that Claude can now determine the requirements of a task automatically, enabling Cowork and Design functions to be invoked from any chat context.
