Chinese President Xi Jinping visits Egypt for first time since 2016

Chinese President Xi Jinping landed in Cairo on Monday, marking his first visit to Egypt since a 2016 trip and commencing a three‑day state visit. He was received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el‑Sisi at the airport, where both leaders exchanged greetings and affirmed the importance of the bilateral partnership that has deepened over the past decade.
