Chelsea sign Argentina left-back Valentín Barco from Strasbourg

Chelsea confirmed the signing of 22‑year‑old Argentine international Valentín Barco on a seven‑year contract, bringing the left‑back who can also operate in midfield from sister club Strasbourg. The move, announced on Tuesday, sees the former Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder join the Premier League side after a spell in France’s Ligue 1.
