Centcom reports two US service members killed and one missing after Jordan base attack

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that two American service members were killed and a third remains missing after Iran launched a missile strike on two U.S. military bases in Jordan on Friday. The attacks, which were described by CENTCOM as “unprovoked,” also injured several other U.S. troops.

Four U.S. service members were medically evacuated to hospitals in Jordan and have since been discharged. Additional personnel who sustained minor injuries were evaluated on the bases and have returned to their units. CENTCOM has not released further details on the identities of the casualties or the status of the missing service member.
