Capitol Police Seize Guillotine from Pickup Truck

U.S. Capitol Police arrested a man on Tuesday after a pickup truck parked on the eastern edge of the National Mall was found to contain a guillotine. The vehicle, which was illegally parked on the 100 block of East Capitol Street near the Capitol building, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress, drew attention when officers discovered the macabre device in its bed. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene, and no injuries were reported.
