Camp Snap releases 110D screenless digital camera inspired by 1970s 110 film design

Camp Snap is broadening its lineup of screenless digital point‑and‑shoot cameras with the launch of the 110D, a pocket‑friendly model that echoes the thin horizontal form factor first popularized by Kodak’s 110 film cameras in the early 1970s. The 110D entered preorder today at a price of $74.95 and is offered in two color schemes—Back in Black (black and gray) and Dreamsicle (white and orange)—each paired with matching accessories.

The new camera draws design inspiration from the inexpensive 110‑film devices once produced by brands such as Canon, Minolta and Pentax, which used Kodak’s 110 cartridges introduced in 1972 for their ease of use. By combining that retro aesthetic with modern digital technology, Camp Snap aims to provide a simple, screenless shooting experience for casual photographers. The 110D will ship to backers later this year, expanding the company’s small but growing collection of minimalist cameras.
