British man found dead in Grenada, family urges police cooperation

The family of Andrew Frederick, a 47‑year‑old British father, has appealed to Grenadian authorities to cooperate with UK police in investigating his death, which was ruled a homicide. Frederick’s body was discovered on 4 January in the rental property where he was staying on the Caribbean island, prompting a private autopsy that confirmed the fatal outcome was not accidental.

The autopsy, conducted by a pathologist hired by the family within the same week, concluded that the circumstances surrounding Frederick’s death were consistent with homicide. The relatives are now urging both Grenadian law‑enforcement agencies and their British counterparts to share information and resources to determine the facts of the case and bring any responsible parties to justice. The investigation remains ongoing.
