Bernie Ecclestone Detained in Portugal Over Undocumented Shotgun

Former Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone was detained in Portugal on Monday after customs officials discovered an undocumented shotgun in his possession. The 95‑year‑old was stopped at Tires Aerodrome in Cascais, shortly after his private jet landed. A routine inspection of the aircraft and its passengers revealed the firearm, which Ecclestone said was intended for clay‑pigeon shooting.
