Apple Unveils iPhone 18 Duo and Updated Pro Models

Apple has officially launched its first folding smartphone, the iPhone 18 Duo, alongside refreshed versions of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. The Duo features a 7.3‑inch fold‑able OLED display that expands to a 6.7‑inch full‑screen mode, powered by a custom A18 Bionic chip and 6 GB of RAM. It includes a dual‑camera array on the rear, a 12‑MP front camera, and a 500‑mAh battery that supports 30‑W wired and 15‑W wireless charging. The device runs iOS 18, which introduces a new “Foldable UI” that optimizes apps for both unfolded and folded states.

The refreshed Pro models retain the 6.7‑inch and 6.9‑inch OLED displays of their predecessors but now feature a 48‑MP main sensor, 12‑MP ultra‑wide, and 12‑MP telephoto lenses, along with a 6 GB RAM configuration and a 500‑mAh battery. They also receive the A18 Bionic and iOS 18, but lack the foldable form factor. All three models are available in new color options—Midnight, Glacier, and Obsidian—and come with 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB storage variants. Prices start at $999 for the Duo, $1,099 for the Pro, and $1,199 for the Pro Max.
