Apple TV subscription price rises to $14.99 per month

Apple announced a price increase for its Apple TV+ streaming service on Friday, raising the monthly fee for both new and existing subscribers from $12.99 to $14.99, according to reports from Deadline and Variety. The annual subscription also rose to $119 from $99. In tandem, the individual Apple One plan that bundles Apple TV+ with the company’s other subscription services saw its monthly cost climb from $19.95 to $21.95. The changes take effect immediately, and current subscribers will receive notice before their next billing cycle.

The adjustment marks the first increase to the Apple TV+ price in roughly a year, reflecting a broader trend of streaming platforms revising subscription rates. Apple’s bundled Apple One offering, which combines services such as Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and iCloud storage, now carries a higher price point, potentially influencing consumer decisions about the value of the integrated package.
