Apple will launch immersive Friday Night Baseball on its Vision Pro headset starting Friday, August 28. The stream will feature commentary from a rotating roster of analysts and reporters, with live graphics anchored in the viewer’s space throughout the game. After the match ends, replays will be accessible via the Apple TV app.

Last year, Apple tested the platform with a handful of live Lakers NBA games, aiming to attract basketball fans to the headset. Baseball expands the Vision Pro’s growing library of immersive sports content, which already includes experiences such as a virtual parkour run through Paris and an Alicia Keys rehearsal. The addition underscores Apple’s strategy of offering a diverse range of live events to entice users into its AR ecosystem.
